Jeremy & Lauren - Engagement Shoot

Jeremy had worked with my husband for a couple years and they became good friends. In September Jeremy was told he would be doing a 1yr unaccompanied tour of duty in Japan. He was already engaged to Lauren, but their big wedding wasn't planned until next year (2011). They decided to get married in a civil ceremony with just their family present- they will however still be having their large wedding celebration next year- white dress/dress blues, the works.

Lauren found out he would be coming home for Christmas and asked if I could take pictures for them as a "late" engagement/save the date photo session. Of course I said yes! We even had a light snowfall... made the day beautiful.

Guinea Pigs & Pumpkins - Pets

These are "my boys" Twix & Beans... they tend to have their photos taken when I randomly have a new idea.

Here are their "fall photos:"

Around DC - Urban

We currently live about 45min from the nation's capital... you'd think I would have seen everything there is to see, but you'd be wrong. I think you could live in the city itself and never see it all. These shots were taken in October, sadly the weather had been overcast and cloudy for two weeks straight so the colors are kind of off...

Maryland Fall - Nature

Just a few snapshots from around the neighborhood.

Sonny & Sara - Family Shoot

I met Sara about a year before I moved out here, shortly after I arrived I met her husband. These two are great and were super easy to work with! Even baby Riley managed a couple of smiles for us. I especially love the ones of her and daddy.

Holly & Brandon - Maternity Schoot

Holly and Brandon are new friends and great fun to hang out with. Brandon had taken some beautiful maternity shots of Holly, however they wanted some done together so I eagerly volunteered! Can you believe these photos were taken just 10 days before she delivered?!

Pickles & Ice Cream Baby Shower

We have, yet again, added a new wife to our group... and she's pregnant as well! I offered to plan her baby shower and a mutual friend opened up her home. This time around an ice cream display caught my eye and I thought "this could totally be adapted for a baby shower!" So, without further ado... may I present "Holly's Ice Cream Shoppe"

Yet again, I apologize for the photo quality (point & shoot)... however, Holly you've going to be an amazing mom!
